Hello everyone,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This has been years in the making. I’m almost embarrassed to tell people that my wife and I are authors, writing children’s books, because we’ve been saying that for so many years and no books, yet. For the last three years, I’ve been telling people that we are right on the verge of publishing the first one — just a hair’s breadth away. Well, guess what? We are now within a hair’s breadth of having the first book published. 😊<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the things I wanted to have in place before publishing was a website. I bought the domain several years ago. As of this writing, the website is well on its way. It will be a work-in-progress for a long time, but we are at least to this point now. Yippee!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our first book, Martha Defeats Fear!<\/em>, has been written, illustrated, edited and more-edited. I still need to apply for the copyright, ISBN, barcode, and finalize a Print-on-demand (POD) company. Then I can let everyone know it is available and have 500 copies printed so I can pass them out to charities for free. Eventually, some of our friends and family will no doubt buy a few copies so we’ll actually have “some” income to balance out all of our expenditures. I’m excited!<\/p>\n\n\n\n We have so many exciting things planned, including another 9 books in process!
