The proofs had the interior illustrations in black and white — very disappointing! It seems I did not check the correct box during setup even though I’m sure I did. Maybe it got reset during my many re-dos and I forgot to set it again??? Since the format changed, I had to get a new ISBN. Since the ISBN changed, I had to get a new barcode. Since I had to do all of those changes anyway, I decided to reload all of the illustrations from the originals. With all of that done, I resubmitted it to Kindle Direct Publishing for approval — I got it in about 24 hours. I have now ordered 5 more proofs that are supposed to be here the first week of October.
